My 5 Q’s with Brian Mutizwa- a true gentleman and one of the reasons I love going to The House of Machines.
1.Tell us what you do for a living?
I’m the day manager at The House of Machines in Shortmarket Street, Cape Town. I oversee the daily running of the House- what comes in and what goes out, from apparel to coffee and all that’s in between.
2.What is your passion-what inspires you?
Successful people inspire me – from the ordinary to the wealthy. I love hearing their different stories.
3.What is it that inspires you about Cape Town?
It’s people and the cultural rainbow that exists in this city.
4.Name a favourite travel destination?
Beira in Mozambique– I was last there in high school on a scout trip. The people are amazing- friendly, welcoming, and the food is great.
5.What are a few of your favourite things in life and what is your pet peeve?
My favourite thing: my family.
My pet peeve: people who knowingly take advantage of others.
