Rhodes Memorial today, with my mom Heather Foat,for breakfast. I had the most average B&E at the tea garden in like forever…I realized again how much I hate mediocrity…it takes so little effort to present food well…no excuse to plop food onto a plate in such a dull, unappealing way. Culinary fail! -5 stars
Rhodes Memorial for those of you not from Cape Town, is a huge monument above the University of Cape Town that has a fabulous birds eye view of a section of the city…large statues of lions and Cecil John Rhodes on his steed, & the tea garden of course, that is perfect for just that..tea!
