This elegant hotel remains a firm favourite…late afternoon lunch materialized quite unexpectedly on the patio at the Oasis restaurant…a beetroot & fried haloumi salad eased down with a superb glass of Delheim Gewurstraminer. And it was the most perfect day as well – Cape Town on fine form at 35 degrees, as is typical at this time of the year.
