A divine lunch was had by all at the Adele Searll 100 Club luncheon at the Mount Nelson last week. Chef Rudi Liebenberg prepared the delicious fare & was also the guest speaker. For someone who used to hate having to talk to people he spoke so well. I particularly loved all he had to say about ethical farming practices…knowing the source of his products, Fair Trade etc etc. As he says, ‘food is happy in my hands’. True story chef & I’m a fan. Pictured below is the main course, soft chicken breast & a chicken cannelloni with baby carrots grown organically of course, Jerusalem artichoke & other marvellous additions like sorrel … wonderful!
